pattern for the pair of bodies above was based on the pair made for Elizabeth
I's effigy in Westminster. They are covered in a silk damask and bound
with soft suede.

pair of bodies was based on the painting of Elizabeth Vernon, Countess
of Southampton c1595-1600 by an unknown artist. Made in linen canvas covered
with silk taffeta and boned with a mixture of plastic and steel bones.
